They evoke feelings of comfort and calmness with every interlocking abstract line. But in reality, what allows this unique pattern to pop is the backdrop on which it rests on--the neutral, ivory chenille fabric seemingly relegated to secondary status. However, without this unassuming base color, the character of this set will be all but lost.
